Ria Bintan Golf Club is a golf course that has a total of 27 holes designed by world golf legend, Gary Player. The location is in the middle of a tropical forest with sea views and consists of an 18 hole Ocean course (a field with a sea nuance) and the remaining 9 holes a Forest Course (a field with a forest nuance).
The golf course which is located at Jl Perigi Raja, Lagoi North Bintan, Sebong Lagoi, Teluk Sebong, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands is one of the best golf courses that has consistently been named the best golf course in Asia and Indonesia.
Ria Bintan Golf Club is also the first in Indonesia to achieve the highly acclaimed Audubon International Classic and Cooperative Sanctuary certification since 2009, from world-renowned green champion Audubon International – for Ria Bintan’s leadership, commitment and high standards for environmental management.
Recent awards also include the 100 Best Golf Courses in Asia in 2019 by Golf Travel Magazine, and in 2020 they were also named the Ten Best Luxury Golf Clubs in Indonesia from the Luxury Lifestyle Awards.
Golfers can warm up on the tranquil 9-hole Forest course before stepping on to conquer the famous 18-hole Ocean Course, with hole #1 measuring 529 meters. The excitement built from hole #7, which was voted the best par 5 in Asia, with views of the South China Sea in the background.
At the Clubhouse there is lodging at Ria Bintan Golf Lodge with 27 contemporary rooms divided into four room categories. Par and Birdie Rooms are suitable for single or double occupancy, while Eagle and Albatross Rooms are suitable for families or small groups.
Guests can also stop by the Pro Shop for merchandise and golf apparel, or to the driving range for practice, as well as the ‘TeeBites’ restaurant – to enjoy delicious Asian and International dishes.
Ria Bintan Golf Club provides small-scale business meeting/conference rooms or team retreats consisting of two meeting rooms, namely the Jungle Room and the Ocean Room. The Jungle Room has a capacity of up to 80 people, and the Samudera Room has a capacity of 30 people.
