This Golfer Bounces the Ball Over the Pool Before Going to the Hole

Spanish golfer Jon Rahm recently made one of the best hole-in-ones in the world. He bounced the ball over the pool, before going into the hole.

Rahm’s action was carried out during the practice session of The Masters 2020 event in Augusta, United States, Wednesday (11/11/2020). During the session, each participant swings the ball to see how close they are to the 16th hole which is 170 yards (64 meters) away.

When it was Rahm’s turn, he did something unusual. According to Sport Bible, the 26-year-old didn’t place the ball in the tee box or where golfers started the game, but instead placed it a few meters by the side of the pool.

Jon Rahm unhesitatingly swung his golf club and hit the ball that glided beautifully over the pool. The ball seemed to bounce three or four times on the surface of the water.

The technique of hitting the ball across the water in this way is quite popular with professional golfers during practice sessions. However, what makes Rahm’s action special is the end result.

After successfully bouncing past the pool barrier, Rahm’s ball landed perfectly at the back of the court and slid into the hole. Hole in one!

Rahm seemed enthusiastic to see that his punch ball could go hole in one, aka go straight into the hole in one swing. He then celebrated with his accompanying caddy, Adam Hayes.

Jon Rahm’s spectacular hole in one video then went viral on social media. Many fans were amazed by it and not a few who called it the best hole in one in history
